The Cleveland-Cliffs Foundation was established in 1962 and has been a dedicated resource for charitable giving activities in the United States for over 60 years. The Cleveland-Cliffs Foundation strives to have a positive impact in the areas where Cleveland-Cliffs operates by partnering with and investing in non-profit organizations that enhance educational opportunities, protect and improve the environment, promote human health, and support vibrant communities.

Eligible applicants are non-profit organizations in communities where Cleveland-Cliffs has operations (see https://www.clevelandcliffs.com/about/corporate-directory).
If you feel your organization has a project that may be a good fit for the Cleveland-Cliffs Foundation, consideration to submit a full proposal can be requested by submitting a letter of inquiry via the foundation's online grants system. If you do not receive a request for additional information within 45 days, please be advised that your project does not match the giving strategy of the Cleveland-Cliffs Foundation or is ineligible for funding as a result of limited resources.
Those invited to submit a grant proposal will submit their request via the foundation's online application by one of the established deadline dates. All grant applications must be submitted online. Please note that all unsubmitted grant requests will be removed from the portal between December 1 and December 30. New requests for support can be submitted after January 1.
