    The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation's annual grants program disseminates funds three times a year to organizations who fall within its three pillars. In addition to grants, LADF activates with grantees, co-hosts grantee events, digitally showcases the work of grantees and conducts "Giving Moments" in stadium to further highlight grantees work to millions of fans.


    LADF PILLARS

    • Education + Literacy: Emphasis on organizations that seek to provide access, opportunity and innovation to youth at critical engagement stages -- specifically middle school engagement (during and after-school programs), college access and success. 45 % of funding. Preference is given to organizations that are committed to literacy, middle school engagement and college access.
    • Health + Wellness: Emphasis on organizations that seek to address health challenges that prevent children from engaging in school or recreational activities 29% of funding.. Preference is given to organizations that provide direct health, nutrition and fitness services to students at school or program sites.
    • Sports + Recreation: Emphasis on organizations that seek to focus on inclusion, preservation and promotion of sports in communities and the use of sports to create leadership opportunities and character development. 26% of funding. Preference is given to organizations focused on inclusion, preservation and promotion of sports, youth development through sport and promotion of safe places to play

    There are limited funds available to support special events or fundraisers; where possible these opportunities will be reviewed monthly by the Grant Committee. Requests should be submitted within six-to-eight weeks of the event to allow time for a response.

    Eligible applicants are non profit organizations. Program must be located in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Geographic priority is LA County.


    Note: 509(a) nonprofits are not eligible. This primarily includes churches, schools, and hospitals.

    Deadline Details

    Applications are to be submitted by February 1, May 1, and August 1, annually.
