    The DSF Charitable Foundation is the charitable-giving organization of the David Scaife family. The Foundation seeks to promote excellence in three program areas:

    • Health - Projects supported include research on Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and other devastating neurodegenerative conditions.
    • Human services- Projects supported include childcare for low-income families to construction of an end-of-life-care residence. The Foundation has made substantial commitments in job and life-skills training for persons with disabilities, mentoring and other youth-development programming, summer activities for children, and senior care.
    • Education - Projects supported include a variety of in-school and out-of-school programs. Much of the Foundation's support in this area has focused on broadening the availability of high-quality educational options.
