The Howard Charitable Foundation was founded in 1999 in Washington. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on healthcare, educational, and domestic humanitarian charities. To that end, it supports projects in the following program areas:
Programs that benefit the following population groups will receive priority consideration: Academics, children, youth, economically disadvantaged people, victims and oppressed people.
The foundation does not maintain a website.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Award amounts vary by proposal, but generally range from $10,000 to $100,000 each.
